AIGA Houston: Annual Report Workshop: Beyond the Numbers

Join us for this unique interactive workshop to help you kick-off Annual Report season. This is a great opportunity to interact with other IR designers, as well as IR professionals. If you’re an experienced designer, you’ll appreciate the level of discussion, and designers and companies new to Annuals will get some quick education. You can always learn something new from great discussions like these, so don’t miss out!

Led by the leading Annual Report expert Sid Cato, this workshop will cover the essential ingredients for a successful AR. Sid will critique a limited number of Annual Reports submitted in advance, – everything from the feel of the paper stock to the cover design to the content of the books and the writing style. He will describe whether the reports are inviting, readable and informative for shareholders. He will elaborate in detail, providing suggestions for improvement where appropriate. The workshop will also answer top questions on IROs minds, including the Securities and Exchange Commission discussion on the new ruling and how to publish these documents at a time of close scrutiny of investor communications.
