Politics aside. Take a look at the Kinky for Governor web site versus any of the other candidate’s web site ( Perry link, Bell link, Strayhorn link- WARNING- Staryhorn’s web site commits a huge sin by blasting a TV ad at you when the page loads).
It is clear Kinky’s group has a respect for how design can add value. The site is well laid out and has enough information for you, the potential voter, to understand what he stands for. The other sites are the typical political web sites. Granted they do serve the purpose of what a political web site should do. Only Kinky’s site has set him apart from the others.
Back to the opening question, would Kinky be good for our business? I think so, he pushes us to think about what could be, instead of more of the same. Be different, think different, do different- we will see if this resonates with the voters. So if you are reading this on November 7th and you have not voted, why the hell not? Get out there and vote.
